A total of 36,000 untrained employees lost their jobs on the orders of Justice Abhijit Ganguly while conducting the trial in the recruitment corruption case in the state. The judge said in his order that qualified and trained candidates should be appointed within the next three months. After this directive, the Primary Education Board became more active.However, the education agency said that the 36,000 workers who were being axed had received training and were hired in accordance with all norms.

On this day, the Board of Primary Education appealed to the division bench of the High Court challenging the order of Justice Abhijit Ganguly. Responding to the plea of ​​the board, the division bench of the High Court accepted the case and the matter is scheduled to be heard tomorrow.The agitating would-be teachers were hopeful as the High Court ordered the retrenchment of 36,000 untrained workers and re-employment. But on this day, as the division bench accepted the case filed by the state primary board, they were again disappointed.

At the Margaret Hope Tea Garden in Darjeeling, locals heard the roar of a leopard and saw a leopard entangled in a wire net in such a way that it could not free itself. Trapped in a wire net, he started trembling. After that the forest department was informed and a team was sent from the forest department to Margaret Hope tea garden.

J Farid Sheikh, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Kurseong Forest Range, said, "We have received news that a leopard was trapped in a wire net at Margaret Tea Garden in Naya Gaon area. Tranquillisation experts and veterinarians started from Sukna range. They went to the spot, tranquilized the leopard at 3.30 pm and released it. The leopard has been taken to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Zoo) in Darjeeling for treatment.

The Income Tax Department's operation found evidence of the existence of several more bogus companies that raised non-existent share capital and were involved in inconsistent transactions in the stock market, including unsecured debt. These companies used to embezzle huge sums of money in the name of fake papers and companies. In this operation, the Income Tax Department has identified anonymous property worth Tk 16 crore. In addition, an additional access stock of Rs 36 crore has been confiscated.

The Income Tax Department also confiscated Rs 1 lakh in cash and Rs 1 crore 42 lakh in jewelery during the operation. The incident is under investigation.

However, on request of Govt. of West Bengal, it has been decided that 02073 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Special will be rescheduled to leave Howrah at 2:25 pm instead of 1:25 pm for the next seven days starting from tomorrow, informs the CPRO office of South Eastern Railway (SER).
 Consequent upon the change in departure time from Howrah, the departure from Kharagpur will be at 4:30 pm, from Jaleswar at 5:10 pm, from Balasore at 5:47 pm and from Soro at 6:12 pm in SER system.
