Two shops including a motorcycle garage were gutted in the midnight fire The fire incident took place on Monday night at Alse Bazar near Kanchrapara Kampa More along the Kalyani-Barrackpore highway. According to local sources, the shopkeeper went home after closing the shop after the storm that night But suddenly fire is seen in the motorcycle repairing garage.
At first, they try to put out the fire themselves But the intensity of the fire spread to a nearby shoe shop. After that, information was given to Bijpur police station and fire department Two fire engines arrived one after the other and brought the fire under control in about two hours Mohammad Mohsinpi and Dipyandu Banerjee rushed to the spot after receiving information from the locals. Both arrived to find the shop almost gutted by fire.
