New Chief Minister of Karnataka: Top leadership in meeting

Aaj Khabor (English), New Delhi, India, 16/05/2023 : Congress President Rahul Gandhi along with several newly elected Karnataka MLAs and a bunch of top leaders were present at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharg's house in New Delhi today to discuss who will be the next Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Congress has won Karnataka by a huge margin defeating BJP. Now it's time to choose the new chief minister post in that state. And for that purpose, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge sat in a meeting with Siddaramaiah and DK Sivakumar, who are leading the race for Chief Minister. Rahul Gandhi is also there.

Siddaramaiah reached Delhi yesterday and met the high command leaders, while Sivakumar reached Delhi today. "We built this party (Congress), we built this House. I am just a part of it. I know this House as a mother will give me everything," Shivakumar said before flying to Delhi. Who becomes the new Chief Minister of Karnataka state, that is now to be seen; It is said that the Congress will make that name public soon.
