Sudden wave in Mal river, 10 dead

Aaj Khabar (Bangla), Malbazar, Jalpaiguri, 06/10/2022 : Suddenly flash floods in the river on Dasami night.  The death of many people.  Several people are missing.

At Malbazar in North Bengal, the river was being abandoned at that time.  On the occasion of Pratima Niranjan, there was a huge crowd of people on the river banks and in the river.  In the darkness of the night, flash floods suddenly came to the river.  Several people drowned in the strong current of water.  Many cannot be found.

District Magistrate Moumita Godara said that the rescue operation was started in the dark of night.  She did not specifically tell reporters how many people died last night.  However, after collecting all the information, she said that she will inform in detail.  Eyewitnesses said that at least ten dead bodies were recovered from the river bed last night.  The injured have been taken to hospital for treatment.  Many are still missing.

Bhawanipur election is going on through some tensions

 The polling percentage in Bhabanipur was 35.97% till 1 pm;  The polling percentage was 57.15% in Samserganj and 53.78% in Jangipur.

Trinamool candidate Mamata Banerjee,  BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal and Left candidate Sreejib Goswami are in focus in the election of Bhabanipur assembly constituency in Kolkata.  There have been very few votes in this center so far.

Trinamool leaders Subrata Mukherjee and Firhad Hakim have been accused of influencing voters in Bhabanipur.  The BJP candidate has complained to the Election Commission about influencing the voters.  She also accused of false votes.  However, all the allegations have been denied by the Trinamool Congress. All allegations have been denied by the Election Commission also.

colleges and universities will not open in W.B. this year

The state government has no plans to reopen state colleges and universities this year, So college and university students will no longer have to physically attend classes. State Education Minister Mr. Partha Chatterjee said, "The state government has no plans to reopen colleges and universities in the state this year due to pandemic situation. The syllabus given to students will also be cut. We are even thinking of taking the first semester exams online."

Earlier, the state's secondary and higher secondary syllabus has also been cut. This time the syllabus of colleges and universities may also be shortened. Schools and colleges have been closed across the country due to corona virus infection. The central government has also set guidelines in this regard.

Robbery of 55 Kg. gold ornaments

Aaj Khabor, Bihar, 23/11/2019 :  The miscreants took about 55 kilograms of gold by showing weapons. The incident happened shortly before today in Hajipur, Bihar.
