Aaj Khabor (English), Canning, 24 Parganas (S), 21/11/21 : A TMC leader is shot dead at just in front of his house in Canning.
The TMC youth leader named Muharram Seikh is found injoured in front of his house today at Nikarighata area in Canning. According to the local people, the incident took place on Saturday evening. Two bullets hit the body of Muharram. He was rushed to Canning sub divisional hospital in critical condition. After initial treatment doctors transferred him to Kolkata. He died there.
Canning police have launched an investigation into who was involved in the incident. CCTV footage shows that four to six came by an auto Rickshaw. Rafique Seikh has been identified as the main accused. The local people also accused and identified to Rafique Seikh.
