In other words, the Prime Minister has spent an average of 9 crore rupees per trip abroad. That cost also includes the cost of private flights to travel and other costs to travel to those countries.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the Prime Minister has visited a total of 58 countries in the last five years. By visiting these countries, he has further strengthened the mutual relations and understanding between India and those countries. The two countries have further organized trade exchanges, including foreign policy. There are a number of international commitments made by India every year, out of which the Prime Minister has had to travel abroad.
