Rujira couldn't avoid ED interrogation

Aaj Khabar (English), New Delhi, India, 01/10/2021: Abhishek Banerjee's wife Rujira Banerjee could not avoid ED interrogation in Delhi.

Earlier, Rujira Banerjee was scheduled to visit Delhi on September 1 and face interrogation by Enforcement Directorate officers.  ED officers sent her a notice to appear at the Delhi office.  But in the Corona atmosphere, Rujira did not want to leave her small children in Calcutta and go so far to Delhi.  So he told the ED office that it was not possible for her to go to Delhi in the pendamic situation.

Enforcement Directorate officers filed a case in the Patiala court in Delhi after the ED office in Delhi avoided appearing.  The ED told the court that although Rujira Banerjee wanted to avoid appearing at the ED's office in Delhi, Rujira came to Delhi just the day before the appearance and also went to a beauty parlor.

 The Patiala court then informed that Rujira Banerjee would have to come to Delhi on the 12th and appear in person at the ED office and meet the ED officials.

Bhawanipur election is going on through some tensions

Caught as false voter !! 

Aaj Khabar (Bangla), Kolkata, West Bengal, 30/09/2021: Election is going on today in three assembly constituencies in the state.  At Bhabanipur in Calcutta and at Samserganj and Jangipur in Murshidabad.

 The polling percentage in Bhabanipur was 35.97% till 1 pm;  The polling percentage was 57.15% in Samserganj and 53.78% in Jangipur.

Trinamool candidate Mamata Banerjee,  BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal and Left candidate Sreejib Goswami are in focus in the election of Bhabanipur assembly constituency in Kolkata.  There have been very few votes in this center so far.

Trinamool leaders Subrata Mukherjee and Firhad Hakim have been accused of influencing voters in Bhabanipur.  The BJP candidate has complained to the Election Commission about influencing the voters.  She also accused of false votes.  However, all the allegations have been denied by the Trinamool Congress. All allegations have been denied by the Election Commission also.

The BJP has filled allegations against the Trinamool over fake voters at Mitra Institution, Khalsa Girls and Zeus School in Bhabanipur.  In some places, tensions between the two sides escalated, but with the intervention of the central forces and the police, the problem was resolved.  Trinamool has also approached the commission alleging breach of peace against the BJP candidate.
