Aaj Khabor (English), Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir 01/01/2021 : On the first day of the year, in the morning a terrorist shot dead a gold trader in Srinagar.
A gold trader was shot dead by a militant in Kashmir this morning. The incident took place on High Street in Srinagar. After the incident, the gold trader was rushed to the hospital in a bloody condition but could not be saved. Police said the gold trader's name was Satpal Nichal. He is a resident of Saraibala area of Srinagar. Police have cordoned off the area after the incident and are searching for the terrorist.
In another incident, a 14-year-old boy from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir crossed the border today In Azot village near Batar canal of Poonch district. The 14-year-old boy was caught by the Special Operations Group while crossing the border. The boy is currently in custody, and is being questioned. How he crossed the border is also being investigated.
